Dr. Zaipuna O. Yonah, Eng. Christine Mwase and two science Teachers: Salum Kilipamwambu and Selina Fundi the IEEE Tanzania Subsection participated in the Teacher In Service Programme Training in Nairobi. It is intended to duplicate and continue with such training in Tanzania targeting Volunteer members of IEEE and Teachers of STEM. Arrangements are underway to introduce the TISP project to Secondary schools and Education colleges in Tanzania. The good news here is that the Subsection has the exposure how to run such an event. Our desire is to scale and impact many teachers, this way, encouraging them to improve their skills at teaching STEM and also creating an opportunity for the teachers to join IEEE as members.
